And since we know the mama’s will be the ones making this drink for their men (or at least we think they should be!), go ahead and pour one for yourself, too, and have a drink with the daddy in your life!

Happy National Wine Day!

The holiday we can ALL celebrate has arrived, friends! IT’S NATIONAL WINE DAY! (proof that God loves us, amen!?) To celebrate, we are featuring two of our favorites with a few of their respective charcuterie board pairings and we think you will absolutely love them!

First on the docket is our Dellatorri Chianti. This beautiful Italian wine boasts bright, cherry aromas and soft vanilla and berry flavors and pairs OH SO PERFECTLY with all your pasta dreams! When being paired with charcuterie, we highly recommend featuring some tomatoes, mozzarella cheeses, parmesan cheeses, mushroom flavors, and, believe it or not, BBQ flavors! We promise your taste buds will thank us!

Next up is our Dellatorri Pinot Grigio. This lovely Italian gal shows off with her citrus, mineral, and flint aromas and abundant fruitiness. And in the hot summer heat that we’re in right now, we think it’s the perfect wine to chill next to your charcuterie board! Speaking of — if you’re doing a little charcuterie with this one, we highly suggest adding some veggie flavors — lettuce, green beans, radishes — and complimenting those with some fruity additions like apples and pears. And of course, don’t forget the cheese! Ricotta is the perfect pairing for this wine!

No matter how you choose to celebrate National Wine Day, we are simply saying this: JUST MAKE SURE TO CELEBRATE IT SOME HOW, SOME WAY! We think you earned it! 😉

As always, you can follow along on social media with us @corksandcheers for videos, pictures, pairing suggestions, and much more!

Cheers, friends!

Mother’s Day Margarita

It’s Mother’s Day weekend, y’all, and I think we can all agree that we should be raising ALLLLL the glasses to ALLLL the moms, amen!? Moms are the literal G L U E that holds all of humanity together. This is a fact and not up for debate. There have never been and never will be a breed of human beings quite like the mamas. So today, we have a special lil drink to help you celebrate the special mom or moms in your life — and if you are a mom yourself, this one’s for you!

Here’s what you’ll need:
3 oz Martin’s Rake Sauvignon Blanc
1/2 oz Silver Tequila
1/2 oz Ruby Red or Grapefruit Juice
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 oz Agave Nectar
Grapefruit slices to garnish
Salt or sugar
Cocktail shaker

And Here’s how you make it:
In your shaker, combine your wine, liquor, fruit juices, and agave nectar. Then you know what to do — sh-sh-sh-shaaaake it, mama! Rim a glass with either sugar or salt, depending on your preference, and pour over ice! Voila — Mama’s Marg is ready for sipping!

And while you’re at it, may we suggest waiting on the special lady hand and foot for the rest of the day!? Unless of course you’re the special lady — then you demand the same kind of service! 😉

For real — to alllll the moms: biological moms, step-moms, foster moms, spiritual moms, or “second” moms… we appreciate you and we honor the never-ending, all consuming, unconditional love and service you thanklessly offer to the world. We know we speak for your people when we say: the world is better because you’re in it!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Sparkling Strawberry Lime

Hey, heyyyy! We’re not sure where you are, but where we are, it’s still too cold for our liking. So we’re continuing on with our mission to channel warmer weather by drinking spring-inspired drinks! Today’s beverage of choice is our Sparkling Strawberry Lime featuring our Pinetti Notte Pinot Grigio!

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Bottle Pinetti Notte Pinot Grigio
1 Can Lime Bubly
Strawberry slices to garnish
Lime slices to garnish

And here’s how you make it:
In a glass, pour your lime Bubly until half full. Top with Pinetti Notte Pinot Grigio. Garnish glass with strawberry & lime slices. Drink and enjoy!

This one is a great option for our wine drinkers who prefer to steer clear of the sweet wines. The lime Bubly gives it just enough while refraining from taking away from the dry Pinot Grigio taste. We think your palate will thank us!

Hey, y’all! We know it’s still winter but we are getting tired of the gloomy, cold days. Who’s with us!? That’s why we’ve decided to go into full blown spring-drink mode in order to hopefully BRING. THE. SPRING!

Today’s delicious little number features our favorite Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato and we’re pairing it with fresh blueberries and a yummy blueberry lemonade! It is the perfect little refresher to enjoy mid-day all the way into the wee hours of the night!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Fresh blueberries
Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato
Hubert’s Blueberry Lemonade
Lemon for garnish

And here’s how you make it:
In a wine glass, drop a handful of fresh blueberries. Top the blueberries with your Dellatorri Sparkling moscato, and finish it off with Hubert’s blueberry lemonade. Garnish with a lemon, clink glasses, and enjoy!

This is a perfect little cocktail for all occasions — but especially being that shower season is coming up…we think this would be a hit as you shower a special bride-to-be or to have for guests at a baby shower! Or, as always, you can just make it for you…because you deserve a drink, mama!

Galentine’s Dipped Flutes

L-L-L-LADIEEEES! Oh. My. Gosh. We have the CUTEST Galentine’s activity/treat for you today and we have been DYING to share it with you! As you know well, we typically come here with a fun, new drink for you to try, but today we’re coming at you with something to pour that drink into. Behold, the champagne flute… but it’s not just ANY flute. It’s a white-chocolate dipped Galentine’s Day flute! And it is to. die. for.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Champagne flutes
Melting Chocolate
Sprinkles
And, might we suggest — Ogio Prosecco to enjoy when you’re finished!

Here’s how you make them:
First, pour your sprinkles into a dish so they’re ready to go. Next, heat your melting chocolate in a small bowl per the instructions. Once melted, dip the top of your champagne flute into the chocolate and then immediately into your sprinkles. (Think margarita glass/salt rim type of thing). Set glass aside to dry and continue to dip in sprinkles as needed as the chocolate will probably slide down the glass slightly. Once dry, pour your Prosecco and enjoy! It’s the “wine and chocolate” pairing you never knew you needed!

These were so easy to make and turned out SO DANG CUTE! We think these would be such a hit at a Galentine’s Party and we want to see how yours turned out! Share with us on Instagram and tag us @corksandcheers!
ALSO! Remember our Hard Candy Prosecco!? YES! You could easily combine both of these lil’ recipes for an extra cute V-Day treat — dipped flutes AND candy!

Xoxo, gals!

Hard Candy Prosecco

How are we already 2 months into 2021, right?! February snuck right up on us which means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you’ve been around here any amount of time, you know one thing to be true — we love celebrating anything, but especially holidays! And the holiday all about love is about as “us” as it gets!

Today, we’re bringing you the sweetest, easiest, and yummiest little V-Day drink to share with your favorite gals or with that sweet someone. Regardless, it’s going to be a hit…and it takes little to no effort on your part. To make our Hard Candy Prosecco you literally need the ingredients in the title.

You guessed it — Here’s what you’ll need:
Ogio Prosecco
Jolly Ranchers Hard Candy

Here’s how you make it:
In a champagne flute, pour your Prosecco. Next, pick your favorite JR flavor and drop it in the glass. Let sit for 2-4 minutes or until you’re ready to drink it. And voila — you have the most DELISH candied-champagne! And the bonus!? When you’re finished drinking, you have a sweet little candy waiting for you to eat it at the bottom of the glass!

Not only is this probably the easiest drink we’ve ever made — and that’s saying something — it’s also really stinking cute! Especially after letting the candy sit for a bit…because then you end up with colorful champagne! YES PLEASE.

We hope no matter how, who, or what you’re celebrating this Valentine’s Day, that you know and feel how loved you are —especially by all of us here at Corks + Cheers!

Xoxo!

Strawberry Lemonade Rosé

February is cominnnnng, y’all, which means ALL the rosé recipes. But let’s be clear about one thing— this doesn’t mean February is the only month for it. We are firm believers that *all* months are fair game for some rosé, amen?! Which is why we’re bringing you our Strawberry Lemonade Rosé featuring our Rue de Pearl Rosé. This one is sure to be a crowd favorite!

Here’s what you’ll need:
-1 bottle Rue de Pearl Rosé
-Pink Lemonade
-Strawberry slices for garnish

And here’s how you make it:
In a glass with ice, pour your pink lemonade until about half full. Top with Rue de Pearl Rosé and garnish with fresh strawberry slices. Serve and enjoy!

Wham bam — it really is as easy as that! This recipe is perfect for the ladies (and gents) who aren’t all about a dry rosé, but don’t want their wine too sweet, either. The added lemonade and strawberry slices gives it just enough flavor without making it tase *too* sweet and still maintaining the bold flavors of the rosé.

Like always, you can check out our instagram @corksandcheers for the video on how to make this!

Cheers!
