Ogio Prosecco

Linda Trotta is a winemaker from a large Italian family who always has sparkling wine at their epic weddings, such as Prosecco. She says it reminds her of the joyous moment. Ogio Prosecco is made in the classic Italian style from a winery in North Italy. It is fresh, crisp, and fruity. Trotta describes Ogio Prosecco as “a delicious glass of sunshine.” Prosecco is a very versatile wine. A nice wine to pair with about anything - a charcuterie board, prosciutto wrapped melon, a bucket of popcorn or a nice piece of fish. Pairs nicely with brie or burrata.

Ogio Collection Overview

Winemaker Linda Trotta describes the Ogio Collection as wines that are perfect for toasting all of the special moments in your life. Ogio wines are grown and made in Northeastern Italy. These regions are cooler with soils that are deep and a little moist, allowing for the fruit grown to retain a lot of natural acidity while also retaining its fresh fruit character. These crisp and fruity wines show these characteristics in the glass. Trotta calls Ogio wines “a delicious sip of sunshine.”

Rue De Perle Provence Rose

Notes of fresh strawberries exist in both the aromas and the flavor, with a lovely lively acidity. Rue De Perle Bordeaux

Kurt Lorenzi, VP of Winemaking and Sourcing, identifies Rue de Perle Bordeaux as a classic Bordeaux. One of the most quintessential regions of France, known for full body character, some red fruits along with the savory notes and a very soft silky finish. Lorenzi enjoyed this wine on a picnic in the forest, the reason he remembers this is that the forest floor notes bring out the similar character that exist in the Bordeaux. “It’s not just the beautiful fruit, it’s also the essence of the terroir”. Pairs nicely with Blue Cheese or Tomme de Savoie.

Cotes Du Rhone

Kurt Lorenzi, VP of Winemaking and Sourcing, calls the Rue de Perle Cotes Du Rhone asleep. One sip of it and you can’t put it down. Has the style and classic character of the rhone plum and white pepper notes in the aroma and flavor, with a very supple finish. A classic summertime, or anytime, wine. Lorenzi liked to pair it with barbecue, burgers with maybe some peaches and vanilla ice cream to top it off.
