Wine Tasting Tools

Is there really anything better than getting your closest friends together, dressing up, and going to a local winery for a tasting!? Well actually, yes. Yes there is. How about doing all of the above, but instead of going out — you do it from the comfort of your own home?! UM YES PLEASE. And with our simple tasting tools, hosting your own Wine Tasting has never been easier!

Whether it’s a random Wednesday evening and Mama just needs a break, or it’s a weekend night you and your hubby have had on the calendar for months, you deserve it! And you deserve to enjoy it with minimal stress, and easy access to all the tools you could possibly need!

Wine Tasting Tools

Because of that - said tools are all available for download right here in this post. First, you have your tasting mats. Print 1 mat per person and set them at each guest’s seat before they arrive. Secondly, we’ve provided you with information cards about 2 of our favorite wines: Myles and Moore Cabernet Sauvignon and Martin’s Rake Sauvignon Blanc. These amazing little guys will help you get to know your wines before you start sippin’. And by the way, we’ve left the third tasting spot up to you — pick your favorite and fill in the blank! Next up, what’s a good tasting without delicious foods to pair your wine with!? That’s why we’ve given you a little cheese pairing cheat sheet to help you divulge the fullness of each wine’s unique taste and to wake up the palette’s of your guests! And finally, for an added touch, we’ve provided you with pairing labels to showcase each of your delicious cheeses!

If you’re new around here or if you’re an old friend, one thing you come to learn about us here at C+C pretty quickly is this: we adore community…ESPECIALLY when that community involves gathering together to enjoy delicious wines and amazing company! We hope you have the BEST time hosting your people for your tasting, and when you do, we would LOVE for you to share details, stories, and pictures for us to see! Happy Tasting, friends!!

Cab & Sprite Spritzer

Cab & Sprite Spritzer

Before our professional wine drinkers get themselves all worked up, let us first say this: WE LOVE CAB JUST THE WAY SHE IS. BUT! We also love to spice up our wines, mix them with items many of us already have in our homes, and smile with pleasure as we discover that maybe, just maybe, we’ve been sleeping on our mixology skills for all these years.

Now that we've cleared that up – let's cut to the chase! We have a red wine spritzer for you today that we think you (and all your girlfriends) will absolutely love! It’s our Cab + Sprite Spritzer. Yes girl – you heard that right. We are breaking all the rules and drinking our red wine chilled! And we don’t hate it.

    What you'll need:

  • Myles & Moore Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Sprite
  • Ice

No, seriously – that's all you need.

How to make it:

Take a glass of your choice (we used your average high ball glasses), add ice. Over ice, add Sprite up ¼ to ½ the glass. Top with Myles & Moore Cabernet Sauvignon (about ½ - ¾ of glass). Adjust measurements to your preferred taste.

SO easy and SO delicious! We LOVE this one! And we love it a little more because it’s one of those drinks that can be served in the hot summer months but it’s rich Cab base carries you effortlessly into the colder months, too! Basically what we’re saying is: You’re welcome, because now you have a go-to drink to serve at all your parties – winter, spring, summer, and fall!

Sparkling Moscato Pops

The sun’s staying out later, the days are getting warmer, and lucky for you, we’ve got just the treat to kick the heat and tickle those taste buds! Introducing one of our FAVORITE recipes featuring our delicious Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato: our Sparkling Moscato Pops! We get it – it's kind of frowned upon to indulge in an adult beverage at 11am on a weekday, but a little popsicle never hurt nobody! It seems too good to be true, doesn’t it? Popsicles are only for kids, right? W R O N G! This treat is JUST for the big people -- and it only takes 5 minutes to make!

What you'll need:

* Popsicle mold

* 1-2 cup(s) pineapple chunks

*1 bottle (17oz) Coconut-Pineapple     Sparkling ICE drink

*Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato

Popsicle

Here’s how you make them:

Start by adding pineapple chunks to empty mold. We used about 3 in each. Next, fill mold halfway with Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato. Add ICE beverage to remainder of mold, leaving about ½ cm for mold lids to fit on. Place popsicle molds in the freezer until frozen through, and enjoy when ready!

Suddenly you're kids won't be the only ones asking for “just one more popsicle, pleeeease!?”
