Happy JULY, friends! Why does it seem like it took 3 years for us to get to May and about 3 days for us to get to July!? Anyone else!? Either way, we are SO excited to start the month out the best way we know how. — celebrating our beautiful country! Today’s drink is a little more involved than our normal 2 minute cocktail, but we think the 4th of July is a worthwhile cause… plus it’s worth the labor.
Introducing our Red WINE + Blue Slushie! It’s our take on a frozen wine slushie..only there are multiple wines AND it’s patriotic. YAAAAS!!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Bottle Delatorri Sparkling Moscato
1 Bottle Myles & Moore Rosé
1/2 c Lemonade
Ice (lots of ice)
2 tbsp Grenadine
1/4 c Frozen Cherries
1/4 c Frozen Blueberries
1/4 Cup Sweetened Coconut Milk
3 drops blue food coloring
Blender, nutribullet, etc.
Here’s how you make it:
You will start by doing one layer at a time. We decided to go blue on the bottom, white in the middle, and red on top. Little disclaimer for you: Once they were all poured over one another, however, they kind of marbleized into an adorable tie-dye looking treat because, as you can imagine in July, they melt pretty quickly. Regardless, the end product is so fun and yummy! Ooookay, ANYWAY! Back to what I was saying — let’s make this baby!
In your blender, combine 1/2 cup ice, 1 cup lemonade, 2/3 cup frozen blueberries, and 3 drops blue food coloring. Blend until consistency is that of a slushie. If your mixture gets too runny, just add a few more frozen berries — they act as ice without watering it down. Next, you can either pour that in your glass *OR* another option is to stick it in the freezer until you’re all the way ready to pour each part. This might be a better idea ;).
Next up, it’s your white layer. After cleaning out your blender, combine 1/2 cup ice, 1 cup Delatorri Sparkling Rosé, and 1/4 cup sweetened coconut milk. Blend to desired consistency, and pour (or freeze). Finally, make your red layer. After cleaning your blender one last time, combine 1/2 cup ice, 1 cup Myles & Moore Rosé, 2 tbsp grenadine, and 1/4 cup frozen cherries. Blend to desired consistency. Pour over blue and white layers or stick in the freezer if you’re waiting to serve. The trick is really just making sure they are thick enough and equal in their consistencies to stack. Otherwise you will get your marble-y mixture sooner than you might want. But like we mentioned earlier, the marble/tie-dye look is kind of adorable and we are a little bit obsessssed!! We garnished ours with some cute little American Flag toothpicks, but you have options! Throw some fruit on top, add a fruit skewer with cherries and blueberries, or make something we haven’t even thought of! But get creative and have fun with it!
Voila! That’s it. It’s actually an extremely easy process, it’s simply a bit more time consuming than our other drinks! And if you’re reading this thinking, “hold UP! I come here for QUICK and easy cocktails — we STILL got you, mama! If you want to cut down on time and ingredients but still get the effects and the TASTE of the slush — you can make a layered wine cocktail of 1/2 cup lemonade, 1 cup moscato, and 1 cup rosé! Throw some berries in there and boom — your drink is made and it’s pretty darn delicious, too.
We would love to see what fun variations you come up with while making your slushies! Tag us on instagram @corksandcheers & Facebook at Corks + Cheers! And as usual, check out our IG page for the recipe and video!
We hope you all have a fun, safe, and SUNNY Fourth! Enjoy your friends, family, fireworks, and all the fun treats! Cheers to our beautiful country and our beautiful community!
Laaaaadies! We’re back with more summery goodness and today it’s all about our Tequila lovers! Doesn’t sunshine and warm weather just feel like the right time to drink all the tequila drinks AND all the rosé?! Sure, we kind of think this about the other 3 seasons, too, but if we’re being honest, there’s something about a good drink mixed with all things summer. Basically, all this rambling to say — you’re gonna want this drink! We are pleased to introduce you to our (your) brand new friend, Tequila Rosé!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 bottle Rue de Perle Rosé
1 shot Patron (or tequila of choice)
1 tbsp lime juice
1/4 c strawberries
1 lime to garnish
And here’s how you make it:
Start by muddling your strawberries, but set 1 or 2 aside for garnish. Once muddled, add about 1tbsp strawberries to your glass. Over strawberries, add 1 shot of tequila. Add 1 tbsp lime juice, and top with chilled Rue de Perle Rosé. Garnish with strawberry & lime slices.
And there you go! Easy drinks are our specialty around here, and this one is no exception. It’s the perfect drink to enjoy all summer long whether you’re planning a great big party or just hosting a little girls night with your favorites. Or maybe you just deserve a treat for keeping the kids alive and the house standing on any given weeknight — we are in full support of that reasoning, too. Regardless, we think you deserve this one!

Friends! Happy JUNE! Hopefully you’ve been able to relax and enjoy some of the sunshine that we have all so desperately needed! We’re coming at you today with something a little different — as you know, we’re ALLLL about the mamas around here, but this weekend we’re putting all our energy toward showing love to the DADS! And for that reason, we have the perfect drink to spoil your dad, or baby daddy, or family member or friend who’s a dad! May we introduce, The Corks & Cheers Man Makers!
This DELICIOUS wine mixer was 100% created with our men in mind — and we went a route that we don’t go very often. We are adding BOURBON to our favorite red today! And listen, y’all… this one is AMAZING. I won’t lie, I think we were a little hesitant to try mixing bourbon and red wine, but we just might do it forever and ever now…this combo is amazing and will have the men in your life asking for more.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Bottle Chalkboard Cabernet Sauvignon
Shot of Makers Mark bourbon
1 Tbsp Simple Syrup
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
And here’s how you do it:
You know we like to keep things simple…and this one delivers. In a glass (on the rocks if that’s what you fancy), combine your simple syrup, lemon juice, and Makers. Finish by topping with Cabernet. Then give your man the remote, and tell him to enjoy!
It really is that easy and like I mentioned, we were all so pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this one. It is delicious! Would be amazing paired with a nice steak or some seared salmon… or honestly just by itself! Regardless of how you (or Dad) enjoy it, we think it will be an instant favorite!

Happy Father’s Day to all you amazing dads out there! We are grateful for you and your influence on the ones you get to (or got to!) raise!
Cheers!
Ok, can we all agree that sunshine and summer and high temps are literally the redemption song of the WEIRDEST spring ever?! Because that’s how we feel..and it deserves celebration! And since we will take ANY reason to celebrate with wine around here, we have a delicious little twist on your regular old glass of Sauvignon Blanc to share with you — it’s our Watermelon Splash! THE. PERFECT. SUMMER. DRINK. (We totally know we’ve said that before but this might be the truest it’s ever been).
This drink is ACTUAL summer in a glass and fair warning: you may or may not intentionally over serve yourself on this one. It’s that good. AND it goes down like — you guessed it — water..melon.
So here’s what you’ll need:
– 1 bottle Chalkboard Sauvignon Blanc
– Sparkling water
– Lemon juice
– 1 bottle Kula Watermelon flavored Bai
– Watermelon chunks to garnish
And here’s how you make it:
In a glass, pour 1 part Bai Kula Watermelon (This is the magic ingredient for sure!), followed by about half a shot of lemon juice. Top with Chalkboard Sauvignon Blanc, and finish with 1 part sparkling water. Garnish with watermelon chunks, and enjoy!
We promise you you’ll be sipping on this little lady ALL summer long. It’s crisp, light, and so very refreshing! Plus its gorgeous hot pink color is begging for a pretty little instagram pic… let’s be honest!

Cheers to you and your fam and to what we’re hoping will be a somewhat normal summer for everyone!!
Friends! What a wild month it continues to be, are we right!? Quarantine is *kind of* coming to an end but we still know the weirdness and stress of 2020 remains in full swing. We’re all looking for the solution to the madness, and while it may not be *THE* solution, we think we have a pretty good solution to offer you…and we call it Cabernade!
At this point, the highlight of most days is the yummy beverage(s) we get to enjoy sometime into the evening (or afternoon…or morning, who are we to judge!?)…right?! And with summer knocking at our doors, we figured a fun twist on your classic, summery lemonade would be a perfect little treat to share with you!
Here’s what you’ll need:
-1 Bottle Chalkboard Cabernet Sauvignon
-Lemonade
-Vodka (we used Absolute Citron for added flavor)
-Lemon to garnish
And here’s how you make it:
In a champagne flute, add 1 shot of vodka, followed by lemonade until glass is about 1/3 to 1/2 full depending on how much wine you prefer. Finally, top with your Cab. You could honestly serve this chilled or at room temperature, we don’t seem to mind either because, honestly you guys — it is SO delish!
And there you have it — we continue keeping it real over here with the easiest, yummiest recipes for you! We cannot wait to see pictures of you enjoying your Cabernade in the sunshine and in the rain!

Cheers, friends!
Okay, y’all…how is everyone holding up!? We are DEEP into this wild quarantine season and speaking from experience, some of us are ready to lose our minds, right!? Which is where we come in! Who’s ready for an April pick-me-up?!
Today we’re sharing our to-die-for Ogio Creamsicle Mimosas and y’all — these things put the OG mimosas to shame! The recipe is super easy, and the taste is DE-LISH!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Ogio Prosecco
Heavy Cream
Orange Juice
Oranges to garnish
And here’s how you make it:
It’s honestly a normal mimosa, with the addition of heavy cream. We started by pouring our OJ into a champagne flute, followed by the heavy cream, and topped with our Prosecco. As far as amounts, you can kind of eyeball it & adjust to taste. We, of course, are big believers in more Prosecco than OJ, but you do you! Garnish with orange slices and enjoy! SO smooth, so delicious.
We are obsessed with this one! It really is like a creamsicle in a cup and is the PERFECT drink to transition us into those warmer temps (and hopefully out of quarantine, right!?) This is a great option to enjoy with brunch OR as a dessert after a meal! Whichever way you decide to enjoy it, we know you won’t be disappointed!
Cheers!
Well, well, well — it’s finally spring, April is in full swing, and we are all mandated by the government to enjoy it ALONE from the comfort of our own homes. I don’t know that any season of life has ever warranted our desperate need for a national wine holiday more than this one, right?!
But fear not, beloved Quaranteam — international Malbec Day is here to save the day…or week..or month? Or however long this quarantine lasts! Basically, it’s here to save the day for as many days as you need it to!
Today, to celebrate, we’re featuring one of our absolute favorite bottles, Espuela Del Gaucho Malbec. This Malbec boasts an incredible flavor, marked by hints of dark cherries and plum that mix effortlessly with notes of vanilla and chocolate. Basically, trust us when we say you should probably go ahead and buy more than one bottle because you’re not going to want this one to end. Plus — quarantine — you feel us?!
We paired this Malbec with some Pretzel Thins and a pair of Murray cheeses. We used both English Cheddar as well as their North Sea Cheese and we highly recommend both. They are the perfect pairing to compliment your glass (bottle?) of Malbec.
In all seriousness, though, we hope you & your loved ones are all staying healthy and safe during this crazy time! We think now is the perfect time to pour yourself a glass of wine, and take a moment to truly unwind, be it alone or with your quarantine partner — 6 feet apart, of course!
Cheers and happy Malbec Day, friends!
Okay, friends… in case you missed it — we’ve got your easter gift-giving covered — but now it’s time to focus on treating yourself! Which is why we’re brining you the most amazing spring mimosa to sip on while you’re celebrating Easter (or spring in general) from your couch!
Introducing the Delatorri Coconut Pineapple Mimosa. The ingredients are kind of self explanatory but let’s break it down to be sure.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 bottle of Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato
Coconut Milk
Pineapple Juice
Whipped Cream
Pineapple to garnish
And here’s how you make it:
In a champagne flute, pour equal parts coconut milk and pineapple juice. Top with Dellatorri Sparkling Moscato and add a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with pineapple chunks, and enjoy!
Ok but you guys — can we just talk about HOW DIVINE THIS DRINK IS?! First of all it tastes like something you’d receive at some swanky beachfront hotel, and second of all it is just plain pretty to look at! And can’t we all use a pretty little drink to stare at right now!?
So whatever your Easter plans are — make sure they include this mimosa! You will thank us later, we promise!
Happy Easter, Corks + Cheers Family!
Well, friends, Easter looks a little bit different for us this year unfortunately…but that doesn’t mean we still didn’t find a way to celebrate!
Just because we’re all quarantined to our houses and aren’t getting to have our normal Easter celebrations, doesn’t mean the bunny is off duty! That’s why we’ve come up with this SUPER easy little Easter gift basket…perfect for dropping on a friend’s doorstep or gifting your Easter host when you get to celebrate (even if it’s a few weeks late!)
For this little gift, we went with the perfect spring-pink drink — our Chalkboard Rosé — and paired it with these delicious, limited edition Lindt Chocolate Neapolitan Truffles! All we did was grab a cute basket while on one of our *essential* grocery store trips, added some pretty easter grass to the bottom, and put the wine and chocolate inside! So simple, so cute, and thoughtful enough to remind your people that just because we’re not together, doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate!
To make it a little more personal, throw in a handwritten note of encouragement — because who doesn’t love a little bit of affirmation to go with their wine and chocolate! We know we do!
The best part about this — you can make it over and over and over again to gift to as many friends as you want!
We hope you’re staying safe and healthy friends… and we hope you’re finding the beauty in a quieter, calmer Easter this year! Hoppy Easter & Hoppy Gifting!
Hey, friends! We’re coming to you today with a SUPER simple snack idea or a really easy appetizer to throw together and take to your next get together.
As everyone knows, charcuterie boards are the “cheese & crackers” of the 2020’s and to be honest, we’re wondering why it has taken this long for people to realize how much people prefer this as an option at a party.
You’re probably familiar with the lavish boards that are sprinkled throughout Pinterest and Instagram, and while we LOVE those, today we’re giving you the “oh my gosh, I forgot I’m supposed to bring a dish to share!” option…meaning a few blocks of cheese, some pita chips, and *most* importantly, WINE!
For this super simple pairing, we used gruyere and gouda paired with Stacey’s Naked Pita Chips and a bottle of our delicious Acronym Red Blend. Per usual, you could change up the cheese if you want, or you can heed our advice and trust that these were a pretty perfect pairing!
As always, you can find our delicious Acronym Red Blend at your local Kroger. And if you’re feeling fancy, you could even throw some sort of fig jam or fruity counterparts on your board. It all depends on how much time you’re working with, right!?
Cheers!
