Escher Haus

Traditionally a mountain wine, the Riesling vines of Southern Germany flourish in the warm, sunny, mineral-enriched soils of the valley floor. Escher, a topographic name meaning “dweller by a terraced slope,” paints the perfect picture of the Pfalz region of Germany. Terraced vineyards lead down into a valley of rich soils providing ideal conditions for the Riesling grape, which has been cultivated there for centuries.
